In the light of this, I studied the Management Information System for Nigerian Prisons Service, Awka with the aim of creating software that can maintain an up to date record of inmates as well as rendering quick and efficient services to the prisoners for better decision-making and management. This project was done using basic html for visible web contents, java script, php for server scripting and MySQL database was used to store and manage the prisoner’s records.
